I'm Tracy Meisenbach and I am an experienced all breed horse show judge. I've had horses all of my life, sharing my family's
strong equine background. I've dealt with many breeds, everything from thoroughbreds and polo ponies, Arabians and miniatures.
I've tried to experience a broad spectrum of equine disciplines and I've competed in everything from roping and dressage to polo
and pole bending. I have shown in both breed and open shows and understand the differences between the two. In the past
I worked for several years as a veterinary technician while living in Texas and Arizona.
Currently, with my husband, Perry, and daughter, Amy, I have a breeding farm in central Virginia where we stand two
Appaloosa stallions and raise quality babies. We also breed and promote Sugarbush Draft Horses. I train and give riding lessons,
including therapeutic riding. I have given clinics on show grooming, safe trailering, western riding, hunt seat and saddleseat,
equine color genetics, games classes and horse show safety.
In the past few years I have taken a very active role in the Appaloosa Horse Club and I currently sit on the ApHC National
Board of Directors . I am a director for the Colorado Rangerbred Horse Association. I also write, and publish, articles about
horse training and care. I have been a featured author in Miniature Horse World Showcase, Trail Rider magazine,
The Paso Fino Digest, The Lippett Morgan Review and many other publications including DeQuarter, the European Stock Horse Journal.
I am certified through NCSU and carded with the World Class Miniature Horse Registry Inc and Open Horse Show Association (OHSA). and have judged both breed and open shows.
I have extensive experience with Pony Club and 4H, Western, English, gaited and games. I am certified for non-trotting classes
and I do have a background in saddleseat and driving. I am available to judge shows on weekends as well as weekdays and if desired
I can also give certain clinics prior to or after a show. I enjoy working with youth exhibitors and I stress safety in all classes.
